Jordan Davis “Home State” Album Review

Nashville recording artist Jordan Davis released his first full length album on March, 23, 2018 titled “Home State”. This 12 track album was released on all social media platform and in stores. I found out about him recently, and I don’t exactly remember how I came across him. Maybe WSIX was playing him on I Heart or something. Anyway, “Take It From Me” was his first single. “Single You Up” is his current single. Every track has something different to offer as far as instrumentally goes which after listening to it one time through completely I was hooked. Did anyone really expect anything less then that though? I mean after all it’s me we’re talking about. My favorite tracks are “Single You Up”, “Sundownin”. “Slow Dancin In A Parking Lot”, “Going ‘Round” just to name some. This album does have a country feel to it but as with every country artist going away from what country music once was it has some Rock/Pop feel to it as well. The beats to every song is what’s hook line and sinking me in. His vocals and voice really are amazing. Most of his music has to do with relationships and being in love and all of that jazz, but one of the aspects of country music. Always has been and always will be! It’d be cool if Jordan could play at CMA FEST. I’d love to meet him! 🙂 10/10 go check it out!
