Carrie Underwood “Cry Pretty” Album Review

You may recognize Carrie Underwood as the winner of American Idol in the mid 2000’s. Since she’s won she’s become one of the biggest vocal sensations in country music. With her latest album release of “Cry Pretty” which was released on September, 14, 2018, the success of her music career has risen to major heights over the years. From her first album “Some Hearts” to now she has continued to wow her fan base with every single, and show she’s performed. I’ve seen her perform so many times in Nashville that every single time I don’t get sick of seeing her. Carrie is one of my favorite country music artists who has a killer voice. Her latest album is one that when I heard “Southbound” which is the very first track that I heard I was like OK I’m feeling this beat and vibe. This album isn’t your typical country album. It has a country vibe with pop added into the mix and this works with this album. I didn’t have any expectations with this one and I like the vibe it gives off. Every song has a different vibe, and feel to it. There are some songs I don’t like as much as others but that’s with any album. Some favorite songs include “Southbound”, “Love Wins”, “Spinning Bottles” just to name a few. If you like country music and want a powerhouse to listen too then go check out CU!

On another note, I’ve had the privilege of seeing her live so many times at CMA fest and the Opry so every time she kills it. Go check it out. Good Charlotte review is coming soon!
